Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Your tasks:

  • Identify target customers for MVTec in the North American semiconductor industry based on MVTec’s ideal customer profile
  • Identify business drivers for machine vision solutions
  • Create a business development plan to increase sales of MVTec products in the North American semiconductor industry
  • Execute the business development plan by approaching decision makers, finding opportunities within the semiconductor industry and help MVTec’s North American sales team close opportunities
  • Develop and refine MVTec’s sales strategy for the semiconductor industry and advise sales team on successful approaches
  • Ensure the long-term growth of MVTec revenue and market share in the North American semiconductor industry
  • Adapt strategy to other industries in line with our priorities defined by MVTec

Your qualifications:

  • Personal network in the semiconductor industry to approach decision makers
  • Professional experience in sales, business development or a comparable position for makers of manufacturing equipment, preferably within the semiconductor industry
  • In depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and business drivers for machine vision applications in the semiconductor industry
  • Enthusiasm in driving new topics with different stakeholders while navigating complex decision-making structures in the client organization
  • Excellent communication skills, customer focus and goal-oriented workstyle with strategic thinking and entrepreneurial acting
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially sales
  • Willingness to travel (about 30%)
