You will put MVTec's knowledge of machine vision applications in selected vertical markets to use by identifying client opportunities and helping our sales team turn those opportunities into customers. Business Development Manager (f/m/d)

Your responsibility:

  • Identify prospects for MVTec products in selected vertical markets
  • Generate demand for machine vision solutions based on MVTec products in North America using knowledge of machine vision applications and USP's identified by MVTec's Headquarters
  • Identify decision makers and proactively develop leads and opportunities in North America in specific industries
  • Assist Regional and Key Account Managers in North America in turning opportunities into customers
  • Become the subject matter expert for machine vision applications in selected vertical markets for North America
  • Collaborate with MVTec's Headquarters to refine application knowledge according to North American customers' needs

Your qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in b2b sales and business development for capital equipment of high technical complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to self-sufficiently generate leads and business opportunities for an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful value propositions with business customers who had little or no prior brand awareness
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and navigate complex decision making structures in the client organization
  • Effective communication skills, customer focus and a high level of professionalism
  • Strategic thinking and entrepreneural acting
  • Travel required within the USA
